To have precise location information, we first have to set up a reference point for RTK called BASE. This reference point is vital for BASE to send correction data to RTK-ROVER for calibration purpose. ROVER would then process the data from BASE and calculate the location up to 1cm accuracy. This means that the communication between BASE and ROVER is essential. The design in ALPHA provides three interface – USB, BLUETOOTH and TTL which is convenient for users.
