Some tips for New Users

From my use of the Proview S3 this 2 days, I find out some points to note :-

First of all, watch the Quick Start tutorial video carefully again and again and follow the steps to a T. I must have watched it at least 10 times before and after I got my gimbal and followed it to a T and I managed to set up without problem. It helps if you play the video and pause while setting up your Proview for the 1st time.

1) The gimbal is not meant to support violent or sudden wide movement. There is a limit to stabilization, you cannot shake wildly and expect it to work perfectly. You want stable videos, even with gimbal, you should also control your own hands.

2) Holding the handle at 45 degrees to the grip will cause vibration, use the joystick to pan to your desired angle instead of holding it this way to minimize vibration. I believe the vibration from the gimbal is to warn you that it is at the extreme angle.

3) To pair a second phone with the Proview :-
Install the app on the new phone,
Turn on Bluetooth, place the phone onto the grip (make sure it is as balanced as possible) and remove the balance weight if necessary, Open the Proview app,
Turn on the gimbal by pressing button for 3-4 seconds, it is important not to turn on the gimbal before the above steps as it will rock violently (in my case)
In the App's device menu, try to pair the gimbal with the phone (sometimes you may need to pair it via the phone's bluetooth setting menu),
Then go back to Proview app's Settings menu and turn on Pairing Phone,
Enter the correct weight and then
Hold the gimbal upright while it takes a minute or so to pair and balance the phone.
You can turn on Controlling REC on the App's settings menu if you want to use the gimbal's button to start/stop recording on your phone. Click on gimbal button once to turn on recording, double click is to change gimbal's locking mode.

4) This tip is from Proview itself. Removing the tiny rubber stopper near the silver ring of the arm helps to remove some unnecessary vibration as it rubs against the silver ring when it is turning. This stopper is only necessary if you wish to shoot portrait modes with the gimbal.

Will add more points if I find out more over the course of my use in the future.
I hope other users who have had success with their Proview can also chip in with some pointers which I have not mentioned.
