Few questions to understand the gimbal better

Hi
I have a few questions :-

1) how to return to 0 degree mode? is there a quick way to make the gimbal auto return to 0 degree mode?

2) when do we need to use Optional Tuning and what is it for?

3) if we add a new casing to the phone, how do we go back to the menu/screen to amend the weight? Is there a maximum weight that the Proview can accept?

4) must the weight be accurate to the exact gram when keying it in? what will happen if there is a slight variation? i do not know the exact weight of my case.

5) after the phone is slipped into the grip, it may still tilt to one side, but if I use my finger to lightly lift up the heavier side, it will be balanced (like a weighing scale), is it ok to balance it this way? and is it ok that the end of the phone does not sit all the way the side of the gimbal motor, because if it does, it will become too heavy on the weight side.

6) what happens in power saving mode?

7) how often do we need to do sensor calibration?

8) I noticed that you asked some users to remove the rubber stopper use for portrait mode, will removing this rubber thing affect the operation of the gimbal (assuming we do not need to use portrait mode)?

Re: Few questions to understand the gimbal better

A1: No faster way to center, only to use joystick to move the pointing direction.

A2: For some phone, if after Phone Pairing there is still some gimbal vibration, Optional Tuning, doing the same gimbal maneuver couple times where it vibrated before, it will try to remove the vibration.

A3: The weight entered for Phone Pairing is the total weight of the phone, including accessories. If adding case, enter total weight of the phone and case, and do Phone Pairing again.

A4: Slight variation in weight no problem for the Phone Pairing process. Usually could Google search for the product, find the listed weight, add the numbers.

A5: By balancing the phone we mean that finding a position for the phone, fitted in the phone grip, such that however it is rotated in roll angle direction it’ll hold the angular position while gimbal is powered off. So for different phones the distance from the tilt motor will vary. If not balanced, battery power is wasted just to hold it level, and there is less motor torque to counter-act rotational disturbance to hold the phone steady.

A6: If power saving is ON, there is less power applied to motor (less torque) when gimbal is standing still. If there is sudden large jerk, gimbal might temporarily lose lock. If power saving is OFF, more power is applied to motor (more torque) when gimbal is standing still, and it can better counter-act sudden large jerk.

A7: After the 1st time, sensor calibration is only needed when finding phone not level after powering up, assuming phone is properly placed in the phone grip.

A8: The rubber cap is totally not needed for normal landscape shooting mode.
