Can't pass step 3 - Shaking when trying to set the weight

Hey guys!

Recieved mine today and I've been trying for the past 3-4 hours to get it to work but I am not sure what I'm doing wrong. I followed the video you suggested in the latest email sent to backers.

Basically when I come to the point where I put the Phone on and balance it, I start the app to set the weight etc, but as soon as I start the app it starts vibrating (Just like before the calibration step).

What am I missing?

Edit: Good to know, I read somewhere to remove the rubber. That didn't really help. As the shaking is going on - Doesn't seem to have anything todo with the rubber.

Unless the Pairing Phone process doesn't finish, otherwise never-mind about the shake, it intentionally does that to measure some phone + gimbal combined parameters.

Please help record video using another phone to allow us better understand the issue if still having problem.

Possibly is due to flipped the phone holder to the wrong side. Also remove the rubber cap, see if it helps.

Thank you for the answer. That's what I meant with that I tried with the extended gimbal. I tried like the video and like the picture you showed me. I also tried with and without the rubber. Same thing... Suggestions?

Re: Can't pass step 3 - Shaking when trying to set the weight

Hi Remeo,

Could you please follow steps in below to try again?

(1) Remove the App and reinstall it.
(2) Upgrade the software for PVS3 by new App you installed in (1).
(3) Do the sensor calibration as you did in video.
(4) Do the pairing phone as you did in video.

If same problem remains after doing above steps, please send mail to customer.services@navin.com.tw and we will launch
a RMA process for you.

Re: Can't pass step 3 - Shaking when trying to set the weight

Hi Romeo,
I had the same shaking problem when I tried to pair a new phone with it.

But I managed to resolve it the following way :-
1) Turn off Bluetooth and "Forget" PROVIEW S3 connection in the listed devices connected to your phone's Bluetooth
2) Delete the PROVIEW S3 App
3) Reinstall the Proview S3 App by downloading it again from your Playstore/Appstore
4) Fix your phone to the S3 phone grip holder and hold it upright on a flat surface, making sure it is as horizontal as possible
5) Open the App, turn on S3 and connect the phone with the device (Under "Device" of App)
6) Go to Settings of App and click on Pair with Phone option, Enter the correct Weight of your phone + with/without Balance
7) Hold it upright as the S3 pairs with your phone

Try it and see if it helps for your case.
